It’s that time. On Saturday the 23rd Grow Annapolis will be having a Fall Cleanup Event to get the City Dock Community Garden ready for the Winter. If you are a gardener, or would just like to join us and see what we have been up to, we are meeting down at the City Dock Community Garden 8:00 am. If you are not familiar with the garden it is located across from the Marriott at the old Rec and Parks Building in Downtown Annapolis.
For City Dock Community Gardeners, this will be a great time to get your plots cleaned up and winterized. We will also be planting cover crops and some of the extra fall and winter crop starts we have at the site. If you are visiting us, we can always use help with the Community Gleaning Plot and a few other projects. Extra food will be donated to a local charity.
Dress warm and bring gloves. Also, if anyone has an extension ladder, we could use it for a project on the back side of the garden. We are also trying to get a wheel barrow onto the site to move the rest of the mulch pile.
