Today we had the chance to check out the garden that just went in down at the Maryland Department of Natural Resources and picked up some extra vegetable plants that will be used by Grow Annapolis at the City Dock Community Garden Pilot in Downtown Annapolis.

DNR’s garden consists of two 4 x 10 foot raised beds, and the department is hoping that this will be just the beginning of a larger garden. The garden will be maintained by DNR employees and they are hoping to have enough food grown this season to donate some of the vegetables to local charities.
