Grow Annapolis will be having our spring work party and orientation for the City Dock Community Garden on April 2nd. We will also be holding a work party for the Annapolis Elementary School Garden, just across the street, at the same time. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will last through the early afternoon.
If you are planning on joining us, check in at the Grow Annapolis tent at the City Dock Community Garden which is located on the grounds of the Old Rec & Parks Building. Bring friends, tools (wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, etc), something you don’t mind getting dirty in and if you have skills in carpentry or gardening, be sure to bring those too.
If you will be gardening with us as a gardener at the City Dock Community Garden, make sure you bring a check book to pay for your plot. City Dock Community Gardeners will receive a garden handbook and will have a few forms to fill out, on site. If you don’t have a plot and would like to take part in the fun, come on down, we would love to have you join us, as we grow food and cultivate community in Downtown Annapolis.
