There will be a Ground Breaking for the Annapolis Elementary School Garden on April 29th at 2:00 pm. The school garden was planted by the children on the 27th, and is really starting to look beautiful. We are excited to celebrate the new garden with the kids, our partners and community members.
Speakers will include: Patricia Nalley, President of Anne Arundel County Board of Education; Teresa M. Birge, Member of Anne Arundel County Board of Education; Kevin Maxwell, Superintendent of Anne Arundel County Schools; Sue Myers, Principal of Annapolis Elementary School; Douglas L. Hart, Acting Health Officer of Anne Arundel County Department of Health; Karen Fedor of Maryland Department of Agriculture and our very own Executive Director of Grow Annapolis, Joel Bunker.
