Grow Annapolis will be hosting this years City Dock Community Garden Work Party and Orientation on April 14, from 9AM until noon. This is the time when we clean up, bring back the hoses, prep the soil and start planting! It’s also a great time to finalize any outstanding business (pay your plot fee, sign liability waivers, pick up a Handbook or Calendar of Events, buy a T-shirt) and meet your new garden neighbors. This year we will also be turning the space in front of the Rec and Parks building into a Giving Garden and we will need your help with that project once your own plots are squared away. Please note that if you are a returning gardener, you will need to provide your own soil amendments this year. We recommend two bags of Leaf Gro per plot, especially if you grew winter vegetables. New gardeners will be provided with soil amendments to help them get started.
