August 18th – guest speaker Virginia Gambrell, from local organic Maryland Sunrise Farm

Come learn about organic vegetable gardening techniques and one of the vibrant community supported agriculture (CSA) suppliers in our area this month with Virginia.  The Grow Annapolis Network will meet at 2PM on Sunday, August 18th at the “Pip” Moyer Recreation Center @ Truxtun Park, Annapolis, Md for a presentation by this Maryland native and 2010 graduate of Salisbury University.  Virginia is the vegetable production manager at the local organic Maryland Sunrise Farm in Gambrills, MD.  She lives on the farm, and is their representative at several local farmer’s markets,  including the Riva Rd and Piney Orchard markets.  Bring your questions for Virginia and any gardening magazines, seeds or other items you’d like to share with your fellow gardeners on our share table!  Gardening items raffled each month.  Meet like-minded people and make new friends!
