Thanks to Kent McNew, the Chesapeake Conservancy, and Anne Arundel County Rec & Parks, Grow Annapolis will be managing the county’s new McNew Community Gardens, located just off of Rt. 2 South, between Parole and the South River. We will be looking for volunteers over the next several months to help with the build of the raised beds and garden area, so if you’re interested please fill out the Volunteer form – it’s located in the dropdown from the ‘Get Involved’ menu tab above. The site will have approximately 36 plots, ranging from 8 feet x 10 feet up to 12 feet x 12 feet, and will be available to rent in the spring of 2025.
