Annapolis High School Garden

As part of our growing School Garden Initiative, Grow Annapolis has partnered with Annapolis High School and their Summer Bridge Program in an effort to build a sustainable school garden program and introduce students to growing and eating healthy foods.

Grow Annapolis volunteers helped to facilitate the preparation, planting and maintenance of the garden and aided in educating students thru hands on learning, tours of the City Dock Community Garden and participating in the Bridge Program’s Speakers Series, where Grow Annapolis’s Executive Director, Joel Bunker, engaged students in discussions on why health food maters to people, the environment and our economy.

The Annapolis High School Garden was made possible by the generous contributions of many volunteers, Riva Gardens and Bowen’s Farm Supply, and we would like to thank everyone who helped out!
