Hi Tony, sad we missed you. The meeting when well; we will have more information up on the site in the next day or two. Let us know if you are interested in taking a more active role in the project or joining us during our next meeting. Also, joining our newsletter is a great way to stay updated.

How did the meeting go on Tuesday? I couldn't make it but I like the idea of community gardening. Will the plans for the site be published on the web? How will we learn more about the plan? Rumors are starting to move through the community and having some details of the plan would help separate fact from fiction.
Thanks,
Tony

Hi, I hope I will be able to answer some of your concerns. We are addressing some of the unique challenges of this location by putting in a deer fence, hooking up a water meter and have been actively addressing the question of parking. As far as maintenance, gardeners will be responsible for maintaining their own plots and abiding by guidelines set up in the Grow Annapolis Community Garden Handbook. Part of the responsibilities of a gardener are to keep a well maintained plot and to participate in garden cleanups and work parties. Gardeners who fail to follow these guidelines will lose their plots, and in such cases, plots will be cleaned up and made available to someone on our wait list. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, we would love to have you join us for the conversation at our next meeting on the 24th. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
