If you are not familiar with the Neighborhood Farm Initiative&#8217;s work, they provide educational resource for gardening and small scale organic food production for DC-area residents. This takes the form of gardening educational classes, working with youth through DC&#8217;s The Green Summer Youth Program and several other programs.<\/p>\n<p>The event included locally grown food, film and conversation on urban gardening through the generations.
