The event will take place at Coolidge High School, and will include family and how-to gardening workshops, roundtable conversations, cooking demonstrations, and an information fair. A detailed agenda can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/fieldtoforknetwork.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/Rooting-DC-2012-Agenda-Final2.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to Field to Fork&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/fieldtoforknetwork.org\/rootingdc\/\">website<\/a>, the goals of the Rooting DC Forum are to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Build community<\/strong>\u00a0among groups and individuals who want to improve our city through gardening and greening<\/li>\n<li><strong>Share information<\/strong>\u00a0and resources about gardening and greening in DC<\/li>\n<li><strong>Provide opportunity<\/strong>\u00a0for DC gardeners to coalesce around specific areas of interest<\/li>\n<li><strong>Identify volunteer opportunities<\/strong>\u00a0by creating a database of community based garden projects<\/li>\n<li><strong>Keep gardeners\u00a0<\/strong><strong>connected<\/strong>\u00a0via monthly e-newsletters that highlight volunteer opportunities, events and news from participants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Grow Annapolis would love to send an Annapolis group to the forum to join the dialogue and bring back ideas for our community.
